Anylizing Requiremnets
What is the end goal, the accomplishment, or achievement? Is it worth the exchange of time? Does it improve towards the goal?
Example: 1080p 144hz? Does it need 1080? Or will a 3050 fill the requirement? - Does the monitor support that frame rate? Does the connection type fill the role? 1.4a Displayport or a 2.0 HDMI?
Example: How many cameras am I going to run? Do I want poe or HDMI cables? Does it need poe+ or poe++? Does it require internet connection? How do you want to seperate the cameras network from the Internet of Things? Does it satisfy your power requirments? Is it propietary?
Take a Step Back
Hold on, does this work? That was awesome, wait do I need 'this', this fast? Do I need that feature? Should I save up for latter? Will it be worth the means of exchange? Does this bring any real benifits for my work case?
Example:Wow that must work for 1080p and its' a deal, better hurry and get it. STOP. Wait a second, does this support the other features I want? Like fast storage? Hold on. Is this worth this many days of my lifes work?
Example: Does this help the overall goal of having a way to provide for me? Access to web forms, such as school, work? Do I really need data in this setting? Is there a toll for over use?
Does it have support for it?
Not everything new is of great value or has the same features even if they share the same name. Example: Wow Bluetooth, wait which Bluetooth?
I have worked with 4.2 and up. When in direct line of sight it is as fast as wired, most of the time.
Does this support 3.0 pcie or 5.0 pcie? Example: Graphics card with a 4.0 with a 128-bus or a 3.0 with a 192-bus? Does the cpu(central processing unit) support 4.0 lanes? And how many?
Do I need a cpu ghz to 3.0 or 2.1 for doing four video streaming? Does this have support for c-state (idle power efficiency)?

NASs'
Switches aren't firewalls, these are just for home network solutions, and some hdmi-iptv over the lan, local-area-network.
NAS is Network Attached Storage, the UGREEN DXP4800 Plus should do files to show access on phones to pcs to tvs. It can also host stream videos.
The HDMI Viewer for tv inputs with buttons on device.
Lastly the POE to type-c is power to phones with an internet connection, and the Tablo gets Over-The-Air Television to home lan.

Just some concerns about NASs' you don't own the software, thus they may code lock you to some hard drives (like some already do), and/or make subscription required for 'some features'.
Reason I chose this model of Ugreen is that it doesn't have emmc which is embbed memory for the OS, thus you 'can' remove the operating system (thus if you want to put it back you can) and install a new m.2 ssd to the computer for a 'bring your own' operating system of choice.
